
Virtual Savvy Caregiver Program
Caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias can be both rewarding and overwhelming. The Savvy Caregiver Program is a nationally recognized, evidence-based training designed to support family and informal (unpaid) caregivers with practical skills, strategies, and knowledge they need to care with competence and compassion. Whether you’re just beginning your caregiving journey or have been providing care for years, this program can help you better understand your role, reduce stress, and improve quality of life—for both you and your loved one.
This is a 7-session (including introductory session) course held weekly on Tuesdays from 10:00am-12:00pm Virtually through ZOOM.
There will be one introductory Session (30 minutes in length) scheduled for September 29, 2026
Course Content begins October 6 and runs through November 10, 2026
Eligibility: Class is open to residents of Pasco or Pinellas County, FL (age 18+) who are informal (unpaid), family, or friend caregivers of someone over 60 living with Alzheimer’s Disease or other dementia.
