Marcy found as she was getting older that she couldn’t always do the day to day things she needed to stay safe and healthy on her own. She really needed someone to help her with things like cooking, cleaning, and even taking a bath. See what Marcy found through the helpline.
A little bit of help can go a very long way. If you are interested in learning more about what types of long term personal care and/or case management may be available through the Area Agency on Aging or our community partners, call the Helpline today at 1-800-963-5337. or 727-217-8111 for out of area callers.
For those who may not be able to afford incontinence supplies, the Area Agency on Aging of Pasco – Pinellas has created Diapers for Dignity, a free and anonymous incontinence supply bank. You can call the Helpline to figure out where you can pick up incontinence supplies in Pinellas County and Pasco County. AAAPP would like to thank Senior Citizens Services and Pinellas Community Foundation for their support of this project.
These locations will:
– Accept donations of unopened packages of incontinence supplies and
– Provide a few packages of supplies free of charge to those who cannot afford to purchase all of the supplies that they need (pull-ups, tabbed diapers, pads, etc)
