Available in multiple languages for Florida’s Pinellas and Hernando Counties. Callers from Pinellas and Hernando seeking information may dial the telephone number 211 for information and referral for all ages.

WTSP is the CBS local affiliate Channel 10 Television News in Tampa Bay Area of Florida and its website offers SeniorSource, “a resource for aging and living well”. Area Agency on Aging of Pasco-Pinellas, Inc. (AAAPP): www.agingcarefl.org. The AAAPP is an Aging and Disability Resource Center(ADRC). Community Aging and Retirement Services, Inc. (CARES, Inc.): www.caresfl.org. Receives funds through AAAPP contract to serve as “lead agency” in Pasco County. Provides case management with a variety of support services. Also provides homemaker, health promotion, and other services.
Directions for Mental Health, Inc.: http://www.directionsforliving.org/. Private nonprofit community mental health organization in north Pinellas County that provides intervention and treatment programs for children, families, and adults.

Non-profit organization in St. Petersburg, Florida, identifies options for housing, transportation, personal assistance services, equipment for loan, etc. for persons with disabilities. Gulf Coast Jewish Family & Community Services, Inc: www.gcjfcs.org. Receives funds through AAAPP contract to serve as one of two “lead agencies” for Pinellas County, providing case management with a variety of support services. Also funded to provide homemaker services for seniors. Offers a “vast array of services and programs serves a diverse population both Jewish and non-Jewish, including all ages, faiths, cultures and lifestyles”, including seniors, children & families, mental health services, and support for refugees.

The City of Gulfport, Florida, receives funds for senior center administration and transportation through AAAPP contract and donates space for a Caregivers Resources Center. Gulfside Regional Hospice: www.gulfsideregionalhospice.org Serves Pasco County and provides medical care to each hospice patient at home, in nursing homes, ALF’s, and in our hospice house. Care provided by physicians, nurses (RN, LPN, CNA), medical social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and bereavement counselor staff.
Hernando-Pasco Hospice: http://www.hph-hospice.org/A non-profit, community based healthcare organization that provides hospice care to the residents of Pasco, Hernando and Citrus counties in Florida. Also offers a number of bereavement support services for adults and children who have experienced a death and live in Pasco, Hernando and Citrus counties.
Menorah Manor Jewish Hospice: www.menorahmanor.org. On the home page, click on Jewish Hospice for information about hospice services within the context of Jewish cultural practices and beliefs provided through the collaborative efforts of Menorah Manor and Hospice of the Florida Suncoast.
Neighborly Care Network (formerly Neighborly Senior Services, Inc.): www.neighborly.org. Pinellas County agency receives funds through contract with AAAPP to provide adult day care, transportation, home-delivered meals, and congregate meals. Other services are available.

Pinellas County Housing Authority: www.pin-cha.org/ The Pinellas County Housing Authority provides affordable elderly housing (age 62 and older) and an Assisted Living Facility for low-income elderly residents who want and need assisted living services, at an affordable price.
Pinellas County Public Library Cooperative: www.pplc.us The Pinellas Public Library Cooperative is made up of 15 member libraries and serves Pinellas County residents in member cities and the unincorporated county. Offers a searchable library catalog to locate materials in all of the member libraries.
Project Grace: www.projectgrace.org/ The purpose of Project GRACE is to enlighten and inform the public and medical profession, first in Florida and ultimately nationwide, of the importance of end-of-life planning….Project GRACE has developed and tested an Advance Care Plan Document designed to allow a person to be specific in their choices to cover common end-of-life scenarios that most concern citizens. The Advance Care Plan Document also conforms to Florida Law and is designed to be legally binding to physicians.
RCS: www.rcspinellas.org RCS offers programs to support those in need. RCS Food Bank, provides groceries to feed the hungry. The Haven of RCS provides safety, support, education, and emergency shelter for those impacted by domestic violence in northern Pinellas County. Grace House provides temporary shelter for homeless families with children. Volunteer opportunities are available.
